Membership

All are welcome at our events, but those who have earned a B or higher in a Latin or Greek course may become official members of the National Organization for a one-time payment of $50. The benefits of membership include:

  • Achieving a higher level of networking via greater interaction with prominent Classicists both within our department and from other departments and programs.
  • Building and maintaining a variety of skills: officer positions and committees offer leadership and management experience; tutoring opportunities offer teaching experience.
  • Discovering opportunities for travel and networking via attendance of a national convention.
  • Becoming eligible for Eta Sigma Phi scholarships.
  • Acquiring graduation cords.
  • Building up your resume.
